Grata International adopted a Swiss Verein model, comprising independent and equal law firms based locally. While maintaining autonomy in operations, we synchronize strategies, share knowledge, and utilize unified IT software. Each firm retains its independence without influence from others.

Our collaborative initiative focuses on key standards to ensure seamless integration and maximize the benefits of our joint cooperation. Prioritizing these five essential conditions will pave the way for our collective success:

  1. One brand
  2. Royalties
  3. One IT platform
  4. One corporate mail
  5. One website

Working under a Single Brand is the foundation of success for all offices within the GI Association. The willingness of a new Member to work in this format is the main question when upon the Association. At the same time, a period of at least 1 year is provided for mutual assessment. During this period, the office will be an associated office and can co-brand in accordance with the Brand Book. The Associated period serves as a transitional phase, aimed at preventing clients from losing you and helping them adjust to your smooth transition.

Members contribute 8% of legal services revenues from all interoffice projects as royalties. For projects outside the interoffice realm, the royalty fee is set at 0% in the first year, rising incrementally to 8% over the subsequent nine years. The member is exempt from paying royalties in the first year.

GI Direct is an automated program that is designed to organize lawyers' time tracking, project management, and billing. Explore the capabilities of our IT platform, GI-Direct, with a detailed demonstration. This user-friendly system adheres to the latest standards of security and performance, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. A singular corporate email is paramount for international law firms. It establishes a consistent and professional communication platform that reflects the firm's unified identity across global operations. This uniformity is crucial in projecting a cohesive and reliable image to clients, partners, and stakeholders worldwide.

A single website for an international law firm is essential for establishing a consistent global image, simplifying information dissemination, facilitating effective content management and enhancing online visibility. These factors contribute to the firm's overall success and reputation in the legal landscape. Our website platform is highly contemporary, adhering to the latest standards, and is tailored to fulfill all requirements. The implementation process will be gradual and uniform for everyone.

The membership fee is 100 euros per year.

The marketing department plays a crucial role by implementing marketing techniques utilized by international firms. The main distinction lies in scale and impact compared to what local firms typically undertake. Any local marketing success resonates positively on an international level across all offices.

The brand book contains information regarding the company's style guidelines. The brand book provides a comprehensive set of resources that can be leveraged to align your brand with our corporate identity. This includes the logo, which can be tailored to reflect your specific location, as well as a range of layouts and templates that have been developed and standardised across the brand book.

The global website gratanet.com offers a range of PR opportunities for all offices. The Regions section provides an overview of all countries where GI is currently active. A new participant will have their own section in the Regions/Your Country section, where all content will be fully translated. This includes a description of your office, team within the country, projects, experience, and press centre. It is effectively a website within a website. Examples of how this is presented for existing offices can be seen on the website. Additionally, you can have your unique content there, such as your current products, packages of services, and so on. You can use the link to your location as a direct link in your presentation materials.

A committee is a group of professionals from each office, united by shared interests within a chosen industry or service. A Committee member holds the role of an RM (Relationship Manager)/BD (Business Development), tasked with developing a specific industry or service within the office. These committees are established to consolidate experience in sectors/practices, standardize templates of essential documents, and facilitate the exchange of information about clients. The Integration Manager, representing the IC of GRATA International, oversees the coordination of Committee activities. The Integration Manager is responsible for preparing agendas, organizing and documenting online and face-to-face Committee meetings, and ensuring the smooth coordination of the Committee's work by aligning all matters with the Chairman.

Both partners and lawyers of the firm can participate in committees.

The only distinction is in the name; associated offices engage in co-branding.

It is crucial to emphasize to all partners that participation in GRATA International is not merely an additional source of orders for the company; rather, it is a genuine partnership, a shared destiny, and a collective goal. Partnership entails the pooling of efforts but does not guarantee immediate results. GRATA International provides a proven and time-tested system and platform as a comprehensive ""toolkit,"" while the local partner leverages it to implement the plan primarily for their benefit, maintaining independence and control over their business. The future income growth is contingent on various factors such as the political and economic landscape, joint activities with GRATA, consistency in plan implementation, and more. The success of the joint business relies on mutual collective efforts.
